Brokerage fees if any ?

Brokerage fees, if any, are included in the quoted price and invoiced together with the delivered products.

How to specify an IFO category when filling in an inquiry form ?

In your inquiry, you must specify the viscosity of the product expressed in centistokes at 50°Centigrades and whether low or high sulfur content.Any other requirements should be included in the comment frame.

Any modification to the vessel's ETA?

The supplier shall be under no obligation to deliver if the vessel arrives outside the ETA , so please advise promptly the call center that received the vessel's nomination in the event of any modification.

Delays for claims to be admissible ?

Any claim in the quantity of the Marine Fuels must be notified in writing to the seller within 15 calendar days of the date of delivery.
Any claim in the quality of the Marine Fuels must be notified in writing to the seller within 30 calendar days of the date of delivery.

Quantity delivered?

The final quantity delivered shall be determined on the basis of the gauge/meter of the seller’s barge or shore tank or road truck.

MGO delivered in our bunker delivery sites are equivalent to the ISO 8217 specifications for DMA.

Other categories may be available upon request.

Specifications of marine fuels

What does DML stands for ?

DML means Diesel Marine Léger, a MGO category. It is the French administrative designation for distillate marine fuel.
DML has a specification equivalent to the DMA category of the ISO 8217 standard with a reduced sulfur content of max 0.10 % (m/m) to comply with the European Community regulations (the sulfur content of DMA is max 1.5 % ).

Sampling/analysis

What about sampling?

Sampling is carried out for all deliveries.
For delivery by barges, sampling is drawn at the barge flange manifold. A vessel representative is invited to attend the sampling operations when completing the bunker requisition form.

Interpretation of a sample analysis?

The analysis shall be established by tests in accordance with the ISO 8217/2010 (test methods) and ISO 4259 (repeatability and reproducibility methods).
